Dawn-Maria France is an award-winning British journalist and Yorkshire Women’s Life Magazine editor-in-chief. Originally from Harrogate, she is also a children’s author, animation creator, and scriptwriter. She is passionate about storytelling and committed to inspiring young readers and viewers.
Her experience includes contributions to the BBC, Sky News, and various publications in the UK and internationally. Drawing on her background as a youth worker, she creates narratives that resonate with children and encourage their creativity.
Her latest projects include two captivating animations, one from her children’s book series, “The Adventures of Jenny and Philip.” In “Jenny’s Carrot Adventure,” the spirited Jenny and her feline friend Philip navigate themes of friendship, family and teamwork.
Meanwhile, “Helen and the Magical Bead Plant” introduces young Helen on her search for a magical bead plant in the Caribbean.
