Katherine Heigl May have attended the Emmy Awards gray’s anatomy reunion, but he ended the night by reviving another of his iconic projects.

The video, which was posted by DJ Benjamin Walker, shows Heigl cutting a rug in a stunning Reem Acra red gown just hours after the awards show ended. In another photo posted by Music Mixer, the actress is seen leaning over the DJ booth and chatting with him during the festivities.

In his caption, the DJ shared that as a rom-com lover, he felt the urge to play the Elton song, which plays a major role in it. 27 dresses,

“I love a good rom-com so when I saw @Katherine Heigl I knew immediately there was one song and one song only to end the night…. #IYKYK #27Dresses” he wrote.

Heigl’s character bonds with Jane Nichols in the film james marsdenThe song’s character, Kevin Doyle, professes his love for the song in a bar, following a previous mix of the song. Heigl’s character misinterprets the song’s lyrics, saying, “She’s got electric breasts.”

Eventually the pair become so involved in the song that they get up at once and sing along, even leading the other patrons of the pub in the chant. The iconic scene ends with the two characters kissing.

The film – which also stars Malin Akerman, Edward Burns and Judy Greer – follows the character of Jane, who has become a living example of the phrase “always a bridesmaid, never a bride”, having attended 27 weddings. “I think [Tess and George] Like, she has three kids and she’s made Jane godmother every time, so Jane has to plan the christenings, baby showers, and gender-reveal parties, but then all the other bridesmaids have to plan. [also] Make her godmother,” he continued. “But [Jane and Kevin] Can’t get pregnant.”

In 2023, Marsden – who also recently attended the Emmy Awards as a nominee for his series Freebie jury duty — told I! news He would definitely be open to another film with the original cast and crew, and would say, “Bring it on.”

He said, “That movie has weird legs that I’m not sure I expected.” “Just a fanbase that people – when they talk about romantic comedies – you don’t really see a lot of comedies being made nowadays.”
